About the teacher
Sarah-Louise Ince studied voice and violin on the LTCL Performance Diploma Programme at Trinity College of Music in the 1980's. Since that time she has had a varied singing career that spans over three decades and includes work in Opera, Oratorio and Musical Theatre, both as soloist and chorus member. Today she undertakes regular bookings with Opera Cabaret Trio "Aspects of Opera" and freelance engagements, mainly in Oratorio.
Sarah has been teaching for many years and has a very busy practise. She works in a holistic way, encouraging each student to achieve to their highest potential and to work towards a goal (auditions /shows/ exams) Sarah believes in giving students the opportunity to perform and presents a pupils concert bi-annually. There is always much to learn and Sarah keeps her own personal development fresh and updated by attending several training courses a year.
Sarah is a member of AOTOS, BVA (British Voice Association) and Equity. She has Public Liability insurance and holds an enhanced DBS (CRB)certificate /chaperone licence.
In addition to music and music qualifications, Sarah worked for many years with children and young people in a variety of settings, including: LA Youth Offending Teams/Young Adults with Learning Disabilities, Residential Schools and Orpington College. She holds a BA Hons is Social Care with Social Work and DipSW.
